1 Peter 4:1-12

Suffering... for God? That doesn't sound like something I'm interested in!!! One of the things that God makes clear to us in his word is that if we follow Jesus, we'll suffer along the way. Not all the time, not always in big ways or small ways, but we will suffer. But this message of suffering is one of encouragement! Christ calls us to a life where we abandon ourselves to Him! However, it's an abandonment of this life for an amazing life in eternity!
