1 Samuel Part XXVI

1 Samuel 14

When Samuel tells Saul God had sought out a man after His own heart, our minds immediately start looking ahead.  Saul, however, is still in the picture and we learn very quickly that just as the coming King is a man after God's Own Heart, Saul is a man NOT after God's own heart.
But this gives us hope as we look forward to the King to follow Saul as well as looking forward to the perfect King, Jesus!  The One who will truly lead us to eternal victory!

1 Samuel 13

Do you trust God?  Do you trust Him when the pressure is on?  What about when things start falling apart around you and even people turn on you and walk away?  God is faithful and He is truly enough, even in the difficult times.
