We Believe in:
--The being and unity of God, existing in three persons- Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
--The Divinity of Jesus Christ and the all sufficiency of his atoning death and in His resurrection.
--The Person of the Holy Spirit and his work in regeneration and sanctification.
--The divinely inspired and inerrant Scriptures as the sufficient rule of faith and practice and the necessity of the preaching ministry of the Word of God.
--The creation of mankind in the image of God, but that sin entered into the world through one man, Adam, and death entered in through sin. Due to our sin we are destined to receive the penalty of eternal punishment unless we find redemption in Jesus Christ alone.
--The need of each person for the Saviour, Jesus Christ, to rescue us from sin and death. Salvation is a work of God involving repentance and faith and results in positional righteousness, ongoing sanctification through the Holy Spirit and eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.
--The existence of Satan as the personal enemy to Christ's church.
--The second coming of Jesus Christ.
--The resurrection of the dead, the wicked unto punishment and the righteous unto eternal life with Christ.
--The creation of the world by God in 6 days as declared in Scripture.
--The Church as a company of believers voluntarily associated together for worship, service, the maintenance of Christian doctrine and the celebration of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper.
--The Divinely given mission to the church of going into all the world to make disciples.
