Shawn has been serving as the pastor of TCC since January of 2014, just shortly after the church started up in the Thamesford area (fall of 2013). He is passionate about his faith in Jesus Christ, sharing the good news of Jesus and helping others to grow in their faith and love Jesus more. He is married to Juanita and they have two children, Liam and Ezra.
Shawn has his BA from Briercrest Bible College and an M.Div. from Carey Theological College.
Shawn came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour when he was just a young child and early on felt God's calling on his life to pastoral ministry. He has worked in Sales and manufacturing before going into full time pastoral work and has been serving in various churches for the last 12 years. What excites Shawn most as a pastor is when he sees God at work in peoples lives!
Shawn loves chicken wings, riding his motorcycle and cutting his lawn (no one else's). Shawn owns a unicycle and one day hopes to actually be able to ride it.

TCC Elder's Team
Our Elder's Team was particularly difficult to get a decent picture of so we just went with this one. At Truth Community we have a team of Elders who oversee the mission and ministry of the church. Each elder is responsible for various areas of the ministry, but together they form a team whose primary mandate is to be a unified group of "shepherds" for the church family, leading, feeding (teaching and helping people grow in their faith) and protecting the congregation.
From left to right we have Ken, Joe, Darin and Shawn.
