Steve Twinem

Pastor

Steve Twinem is presently pastor of Truth Community Church and the church relations director for Pioneers Canada a mission agency whose goal is “mobilizing teams to initiating church planting movements among the unreached.” Steve and his wife Lisa have been married and in ministry together for 27 years. Steve was a pastor for 12 years in Canada and then along with their four children they spent 15 years in Peru where they were involved with training church leaders, evangelism/discipleship and orphanage ministry. Only their youngest, Nate lives at home as their three daughters are married, working and studying (in that order) and their oldest has two children of her own moving them into the grand parent category. Steve enjoys studying and preaching God’s word with the knowledge that the Christ through His gospel transforms our lives and will continue to until He comes again.

TCC Elder's Team

At Truth Community we have a team of Elders who oversee the mission and ministry of the church. Each elder is responsible for various areas of the ministry, but together they form a team whose primary mandate is to be a unified group of "shepherds" for the church family, leading, feeding (teaching and helping people grow in their faith) and protecting the congregation.

Bechara Karkafi

FEB Ambassador to the Arab Peoples

Bechara has been involved in Fellowship Baptist churches since 2012. He committed his life to Christ at a young age. He is married to Roula and they have two sons Robin 16 and Jonathan 10. His places of formal ministry training have included ABTS (Arab Baptist Theological Seminary – Lebanon – Bachelor in Theology), Haggai Institute – USA & Emirate (Certificate in Leadership Training) and Ottawa University (Masters in Pastoral Theology). He has been a pastor and church planter for over 18 years. Bechara has been instrumental in helping to lay the groundwork for many church plants both inside and outside the Fellowship and in MENA (Middle East and North Africa) area. Bechara serves currently as an Ambassador to the Arab World-Peoples for FEB CENTRAL and FEB International.
